Text accompanying the exhibition:

Trembling figures in the distance, in the midst of a beige landscape. Moving, ever-changing bodies in constant departure toward something else. Another society, another self, another state of being. Their traces gradually fade, decompose. Nutrients remain on the surface of exhausted soil overgrown with cables. It is not good here, and there is no escape. And yet, we escape. We bend toward the ground and look closely. We observe the swarming beetles, cooling corpses, our fingers sinking into the soil, touching fragments of time. The artistic, political, spiritual, and scientific reveal themselves in our palms as material. And so we do something with it. In the end, exhausted, we petrify. There is no escape.

The exhibition showcases diploma works by students of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia – department of Intermedia: Studio APK+ and Atelier VVV.
